About Nature's Larder

Nature's Larder - Ewe Close FarmNature’s Larder is based at Ewe Close Farm, Bakewell and is part of the Chatsworth Estate.  Fiona and Pete Doubleday run the smallholding where they grow herbs and cut flowers as nature intended.

Fiona and Pete have created a dynamic and sustainable business that reflects changes in the way we live.  They sell their herbs and flowers through their shop in Bakewell – Arran Trading Post and at local farmer’s markets.  They also supply a number of local businesses.  These include bed and breakfast and hotels, retail outlets and healing clinics.

A commitment to locally grown and seasonal cut flowers has developed into a new floristry service.  Fiona creates bespoke flowers for weddings and other special occasions.  She also offers a weekly/monthly flower subscription service for local businesses and individual customers.  Contact Fiona (email address) for further information)

Fiona also works with a wonderful team of sewing ladies to produce a range of herbal crafts using their own farm herbs and recycled/remnant fabrics.  The full range is available at their shop in town and also at other stockists.

Fiona and Pete work with a talented group of individuals to offer a unique and exciting schedule of courses.  They can also offer bespoke courses for small groups with a shared interest, for example wedding floristry.
